In January of 2026 a petition for representation was filed with the New York State Public Employee Relations Board after multiple attempts were ignored from the Town for recognition.
Today on April 7th PERB certified Teamsters Local 317 as the Exclusive Bargaining Agent for employees in the Town of Cortlandville!
Congratulations to the overwhelming majority of workers who have patiently waited for this moment!
Now it is time to start preparing for a first contract !
